Using and Caring for Your Stoneware - A Guide to Lasting Beauty

Our products are made of stoneware clay. It is very strong. It is fully vitrified (the surface is made glassy and non-porous) which gives it strength, durability, and chip resistance.

It can be safely used in:

  • Dishwasher - All our stoneware is safe to use in a dishwasher, constant dishwashing may result in discolouration of the product over time. We recommend using low temperatures and liquid detergents

  • Oven & Microwave – for cooking and reheating food, oven safe to 250°C. Please note: Using microwaves as a means of warming empty dinnerware can cause damage to both your dinnerware and microwave and is therefore not recommended.

  • Freezer and Refrigerator: Feel free to use stoneware for storing food in the fridge or freezer. Ensure proper thermal shock prevention by allowing it to reach room temperature before reheating.

Care Guide:

  • Before First Use: Give your stoneware a gentle wash with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry.

  • Avoid Thermal Shock: Do not expose stoneware to extreme temperature changes. Allow it to cool gradually before washing or moving from the oven.
